I want a small kitchen-windowsill herb setup and I'd love herbs that keep regrowing after I snip them, so I'm not buying plants again and again.
Which ones actually come back well after cutting — and are any of them a waste of time indoors? Window gets bright light most of the day.
Great plan Ritu — the reliable cut-and-come-again crew for a bright windowsill: mint (almost unkillable, keep it in its own pot), coriander for leaves (snip outer stems, it regrows 2–3 times before bolting), spring onions (regrow endlessly from the white base in water or soil), basil (pinch above a leaf pair and it doubles), and curry leaf if you have space for a small pot.
Skip indoors: rosemary and thyme sulk without full outdoor sun, and dill gets leggy fast. Harvest little and often — regular snipping is literally what keeps them producing. 🌿
